Right To Know

Summit Hill Borough Open Records Summit Hill Borough is committed to transparency and open access to public records. In accordance with Pennsylvania's Right‑to‑Know Law (Act 3 of 2008), residents may request access to public records maintained by the Borough.

The law ensures that citizens have the right to inspect and obtain copies of public records, except for those protected by law, confidentiality requirements, or public safety considerations.

How to Submit a Right‑to‑Know Request
Requests for public records must be submitted in writing and should include enough detail to help the Borough identify the records being sought. Requests may be delivered by:

  • Email
  • In person
  • Fax

Open Records Officer

Response Time
Summit Hill Borough will respond to all written requests within five business days, as required by Pennsylvania law. Extensions may be invoked when necessary, and the requester will be notified accordingly.
